This resort in California’s desert near Palm Springs has over 600 hotel rooms and conference facilities including a 1800 SM ballroom. The design centers on a series of pools and water features which form a connection between the main building and the conference center. Food and beverage and entertainment areas surround the pools, which attract both guests and visitors for outdoor dining.

The resort’s second phase added a 2500 SM full service spa, which includes private outdoor massage pavilions and showers cut from native stone and finished with glass tiles and local planting. Esmarelda has become a destination for luxury seeking guests, offering a range of fitness and sport activities in a carefully scaled environment.
